Monthly Phone Number Vetting and Automated Call Center (ACC)

Carriers require First Orion to ensure, on an ongoing basis, that a business has the right to use phone numbers submitted for SENTRY-enablement. It is critical to help ensure only authenticated calls from the business are delivered to the end user, and spoofed calls are appropriately being blocked. Telephone number vetting accomplishes this requirement. The phone number vetting is performed monthly to consistently confirm that the business has the right to use that phone number. First Orion's ACC provides an efficient way to perform ongoing vetting and offers an extremely easy integration.

How It Works

Option 1: Minor Integration/Set-up

The business sets up a rule on their calling platform that dictates when a call comes from a specified FO ACC TN, the business's calling platform redirects the call to a simple, clear recording that identifies the business name and then terminates the call. FO’s ACC process captures the call transcript, and FO can validate the business name in the answered call.

Option 2: No Integration; Requires Agent Training

FO ACC makes a call to the business' telephone number. An agent answers the phone and following a short prompt, speaks the name of the business before hanging up. This path requires zero customer integration work, but the agent’s must be aware of the process to confirm the business name that’s easy to understand and translate. ACC records the transcript, and FO can validate the business name in the answered call.
