Telephone Number Vetting
First Orion must ensure that a business has the right to use phone numbers submitted for SENTRY-enablement. Telephone number vetting accomplishes that goal and is critical to ensuring only authenticated calls from the customer are delivered to the end user and spoofed calls are appropriately being blocked. As business's telephone number inventories often fluctuate, this vetting must be done monthly to ensure consistently that the business has the right to use that phone number. First Orion's Automated Call Center provides a seamless way to perform that ongoing vetting and offers an extremely easy integration.
How It Works
Option 1: Minor Integration
The business sets up a rule on their calling platform that dictates the following: when a call comes from a First Orion Automated Call Center number, the business's calling platform will redirect the call to an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) that identifies the name of the business and then terminates the call.
Option 2: No Integration
First Orion makes a call to the business's telephone number. An agent answers the phone and following a short prompt, speaks the name of the business before hanging up. This path requires zero customer integration work.
