Genesys Cloud - Call Authentication

Pre-requisites

  1. Annual Contract Agreement with First Orion Branded Communications (Post paid)
  2. Access to First Orion Customer Portal
  3. Vetted and Approved Business
  4. Genesys PureCloud account
  5. Genesys BYOC Cloud - Link to Genesys listing

Configuration Pre-requisites

  1. Default Site configured for Organization

Genesys Configuration

Step 1: Purchase BYOC

Note: The integration itself is free, but you click purchase.

  1. Login to the Genesys AppFoundry - Link to Genesys listing
  2. Find and Purchase BYOC Cloud. This will add the functionality to add custom SIP Trunks to your account.

Step 2: Setup SIP Trunk

  1. Login to Genesys PureCloud

  2. Navigate to Admin

  3. Click Trunks then Create New

  4. Enter Trunk Information

    1. Name the Trunk, "First Orion Call Auth"

    2. Set Type to BYOC Carrier

      1. Select Generic BYOC Carrier
    3. Set Protocol to TLS

    4. Select the appropriate Number Plan Site


    5. In the Outbound section under SIP Server or Proxies, enter the IP Address provided by First Orion.


    6. In the SIP Access Control section ensure the IP Address matches the SIP Servers or Proxies IP Address.


Step 3: Configure Site

  1. Login to Genesys PureCloud

  2. Navigate to Admin

  3. Click Sites

  4. Click on the Site used for Outbound calling

  5. On the Site detail page, click Outbound Routes

  6. Click the Select External Trunks drop down and select the First Orion Call Auth SIP Trunk just created.


  7. Set order of External Trunks

    1. The First Orion Call Auth SIP Trunk needs to be first in the routing
  8. Click Save Outbound Routes


Step 4: Make Test Phone Calls

Make test calls to confirm Branding.
